021299 - New public beta available
I've uploaded a new public beta.
260899 - Taskbar also for Geneva
I'm happy to announce that Taskbar now work under Geneva as well :-) There are
still some things to work out, but Geneva is a lot better than MagiC when it comes
to process-control so it already works better under Geneva than under MagiC.
010699 - Taskbar for MagiC
I'm now working on MagiC-compatibility.
Beta-versions
You can now download the latest beta (sometime
alpha).
Taskbar 2.50
OK, it's finally here, about six months delayed...
- Many bugs in the DHST-code has been killed.
- Handles quoted filenames correctly (?), including in the
"Documents"-menu.
- Lots and lots of improvements and speedups in the redraw-code.
- Added a clock.
- Visually it's now a lot more configurable, with user-definable
colours for the background and all buttons.
- Completely new configuration-program. There's a lot of new options
in this, so read the docs.

Start-menu
The start-menu is built from Thing group-files, so there's no
need to edit text-files to set it up. Just create groups in Thing,
and manipulate the start-menu with simple click & drag.
Taskbar can also auto-start
applications
DHST
Taskbar is a DHST-server, which means that the 15 latest files opened by a
DHST-aware application is available from a handy menu.
Configuration
Taskbar is configured entirely with Thing and a separate
configuration-program.
Hotkeys
Taskbar provides configurable hotkeys for some of it's
features if Petr Stehlik's Clocky is installed.
Register Taskbar
If you use Taskbar regularly, please register by filling out this form. You
don't commit to anything (donations are still welcome, but not required),
I just want to know what kind of hard/software Taskbar is used on.
