Falcon boot sequence

Hi people,

I have a little problem. My Falcon decided not to boot today, and I'm
unable to figure out why. This has probably been discussed before, but I'd
like to know how the Falcon boots. I end up with a blue screen (like
windows, only no text :-) with a resolution suitable for TV. The CPU seems
to be alive, because if I boot with HALT enabled there's junk on the
screen, which quickly disappears when I disable HALT. The disk I/O LED
goes from on to off if I do the same.

I've checked supply voltage and all cables, however, as I don't own any
scope, the clock feeding hasn't been checked. So, any information on what
the colour codes mean and what the Falcon is about to do, or where I can
find information about that, is gratefully accepted.
