I really don't know, but the Nova draws very little current on the 12v line
so I don't think you'll get into trouble.

Not necessary, it's grounded through the ISA-interface anyway.

with 2.66, the most serious one was that it wouldn't initialize the card
at all when booting.

Also, 2.67 will work fine with the copyback-cache enabled, while earlier
versions immediately crash. The copyback-cache increases CPU-performance
with 20-25%.
