`System stack overflow' crash?

Upon loading Texel version 1.6 release 5 all too often I get a `system
stack overflow' message written across the screen and the system completly
crashes! This also happens with the Texel 2.1 demo. It happens with no
other application...so far!

I have e-mailed Thomas Much about this, but he is unaware of what the
problem maybe.

System, in brief:
AB040, MagiC 5.11, NVDI 4.11 r6, OLGA 1.51, WDIALOG 2.04
16MB TT RAM, 4MB ST RAM

I usually have the data cahe OFF (this makes my system generally more
stable)

As I am currently completing an English version of Texel.HYP this is
becoming a real pain. Has anyone any idea what maybe causing this please?
