Nova card and memory

Okay, this is off topic but I know a bunch of you have a Nova card
in your AB040 Falcon. I finally got my Nova running at a decent
resolution and have a question. Why does increasing the resolution
and colors take away from my ST memory. Fast RAM appears unaffected,
but I'm confused. Isn't the 2 mb of VRAM supposed to be used rather
than ST memory? If yes, is there a TK option I need to switch on? I
can no longer run DA's Picture even though I have the fast RAM flags set
(and 64 mb of fast RAM!) because it must need a certain amount of ST
RAM as well.
