Yes please, that would be nice! I'm planning to buy a NOVA card myself
in the not so far future. Anyway I guess the VRAM is the fastest one since it
has two ports...
        Best regards
                Geir...
BTW: I'm now using a relay to switch between the 030 and the 040. Works very
nice! The turbo switch on my tower is truly a turbo switch!
Here's a small explanation of what I've done:
                  Relay
                 ---------
   Pin 17 030---o|- / \ -|o-----------Pin 16 030
   Pad 17-------o|-/ \-|o-----------Pad 16
AB Purple wire--o|-| |-|o-----------AB-card Pin 11 on leftmost Mach-chip
                 | |
   +5V----------o|-[===]-|o------------Switch (Open/Short Circuited)
                 ---------
This is very crude, but for those of you with basic-electronical
knowledge, should be able to under stand this...
The AB-Card connection, is like this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
                        Afterburner card (Top)
<-Cable Exp.Port o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o

                    o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o
                      |Pin 3
                      |
                       \
                        \<----- Cut track
                         \
                          |Pin 11
                  ooooooooooo
                 o o
                 o Left most o
                 o Mach chip o
Don't pay attention to my drawings, they are very inaccurate, but the numbers
should are correct.
Hope this helped...
        Regards
                Geir...

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone know how big difference there is between
a Nova card with 2MB DRAM and 2MB VRAM?

Is there any noticeable speed difference?

If someone is kind enough, could one with a VRAM card
post a GEM bench test and one with a DRAM card post one test
at the same resolution. Lets say 640x480 in 256 and 65000
colours?

I'm just curious. :-)
